Traders on the island generally accept dollars and euros, in addition to the local currency: the Pacific franc.

The exchange rate is fixed against the euro (100 F. CFP = 0.838 euros or 1 Euro = 119.332 F. CFP).

Most French banks do not charge withdrawal or card payment fees, but we invite you to read the detailed conditions of your bank.

Please note that the banks on the island no longer offer the currency exchange service but you can contact the front desk and make the change directly at the hotel.
